Purpose

AWAKE America welcomes reader feedback that helps us improve accuracy, clarity, and usefulness in our coverage of revival news, testimonies, prayer alerts, and events. We treat substantive feedback as part of our accountability to the Body of Christ and the public.

What Counts as “Actionable” Feedback

We consider feedback “actionable” when it includes:

a specific URL or headline,

the sentence/paragraph in question (exact quote or timestamp for video),

the proposed correction or clarification,

a credible source (doc, data, named witness, official record), and

your contact details for follow-up.

Our Review & Response Standards

1. Triage (within 5 business days).
We acknowledge receipt and classify the item as:

Factual error, Clarification, Context/additional sourcing, or Not applicable.

2. Evaluation.
‍Editors review evidence, contact sources if needed, and consult subject-matter advisors when appropriate.

3. Outcome & Action.

If a correction is warranted, we update the article and add a transparent note per our Corrections Policy.

If a clarification is warranted, we add context or editor’s note.

If no change is warranted, we may explain why and invite further documentation.

Escalation & Appeals

If you believe your feedback wasn’t addressed properly, reply to the case email with “APPEAL” in the subject. A senior editor who was not involved in the initial decision will re-review.

What We Don’t Do

We don’t remove or alter accurate reporting due to pressure from advertisers, donors, political actors, or popularity concerns. (AWAKE America is a ministry of Leading The Way and does not take political or government funding.)

We don’t accept anonymous factual claims without verifiable evidence.

Privacy & Safety

We retain feedback records (including evidence provided) for audit purposes. Sensitive material is handled discreetly and, where appropriate, redacted before publication.
