Who We Are

AWAKE America is a national prayer movement and revival initiative founded by Dr. Michael Youssef in 2020 and operating as a ministry of Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef. Our mission is to call the American Church back to Christ through prayer, the proclamation of Biblical Truth, and citywide AWAKE prayer rallies.

Ownership

Parent Organization: Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, Inc.

Status: 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Governing Structure: A Board of Directors provides oversight of the ministry’s operations and accountability.

AWAKE America does not have private shareholders, investors, or political stakeholders. Our leadership is accountable to our Board and, ultimately, to our mission in Christ.

Funding

AWAKE America is fully supported by tax-deductible donations from individuals, families, and churches across the United States.

We do not accept government funding.

We do not rely on advertising revenue.

We do not accept funding from political parties, lobbying groups, or commercial interests.

All gifts are used to advance our mission through prayer resources, news reporting, revival events, and media outreach.

Editorial Independence

Financial support does not influence our editorial coverage. All news, testimonies, and revival reports are selected and produced based on their alignment with our mission and Biblical convictions — not donor or sponsor preference.

Transparency

Our annual financial statements are publicly available on our About Us page,
Leading The Way’s Financial Transparency page, GuideStar and other nonprofit registries.

Donors may request financial accountability reports by contacting our office.

We are committed to full transparency before our readers, donors, and partners.
