CINCINNATI, Ohio — Tens of thousands of people responded to invitations to put their faith in Jesus Christ during Christian artist Forrest Frank’s 29-city Jesus Generation Tour, according to Jonathan “JP” Pokluda, lead pastor of Harris Creek Baptist Church in Texas and an evangelist who traveled with the tour.
Pokluda told ChurchLeaders during a backstage interview at the tour’s Cincinnati stop that some nights saw thousands respond when the Gospel was presented. “There’s some nights we’re seeing, you know, 5,000 people respond to the invitation,” he said. Church Leaders published the interview July31.
CBN News later reported that Pokluda said in an Instagram post that he had witnessed more than 50,000 people begin a relationship with Christ over the course of the tour. That figure represents Pokluda’s ministry testimony and has not been independently audited. Available source material also does not establish that every person counted was a student.
Forrest Frank Revival Draws Massive Crowds Across America
What can be independently documented is the extraordinary scale of the tour. Frank’s official schedule lists 29 U.S. stops from Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 1 through Arlington, Texas, on August 1.
Pollstar reported that the Jesus Generation Tour averaged 18,175 tickets sold per show across its first 12 reported concerts. Hersheypark Stadium recorded 27,365 tickets sold, Nashville’s GEODIS Park recorded 23,667, and the opening night in Tulsa drew a sellout crowd of 17,717. The tour debuted at No. 5 on Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart.
On July 28, more than 20,400 people attended Frank’s concert at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, according to the venue. That made it the largest Christian concert in the arena’s history and its second-largest concert crowd overall.

Gospel Message Remained Central to the Jesus Generation Tour
The concerts were not presented solely as entertainment. At Nashville’s GEODIS Park, The Christian Post reported that a towering illuminated cross stood at the center of the stage as Frank moved between his music, congregational worship and moments of prayer. Author and speaker Sadie Robertson Huff later addressed the crowd and presented the Gospel.
Crosswalk independently reported that Huff gave an approximately eight-minute Gospel presentation in Nashville and invited those who had not placed their faith in Christ to respond. The outlet also described large numbers of children, teenagers, and young adults openly participating in the event.
Pokluda said the evangelistic emphasis extended beyond the stages. He told ChurchLeaders that members of the touring team looked for opportunities to share the Gospel with people they encountered in hotels, transportation and other settings along the route.
Christian Perspective: Pray for Lasting Fruit
From a Christian perspective, large crowds alone do not define revival in America. Scripture places the emphasis on repentance, saving faith in Jesus Christ and lives transformed by obedience to Him.
Romans 10:13 declares, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” The reported responses on the Jesus Generation Tour therefore give believers reason to thank God while also praying that every profession of faith will lead to Biblical discipleship, commitment to a faithful local church and enduring fruit.
That is also consistent with AWAKE America’s call for spiritual awakening rooted not merely in large gatherings, but in repentance, prayer, the authority of Scripture and renewed Gospel mission.
