Revival on Campus: UniteUS Clemson Draws Overflow Crowd
CLEMSON, SC. (Dec. 3, 2025)—UniteUS founder Tonya Prewett described the night simply: “6,000 students gathered for Unite Clemson … Hundreds went all in with Jesus and followed up with water baptism!! It's revival!!”
The November rally is the latest sign of a spiritual awakening sweeping college campuses nationwide under the banner of UniteUS — a movement birthed in 2023.
Key Outcomes of the Event
- Over 6,000 attendees on the Clemson campus.
- “Hundreds” of students reportedly surrendered their lives to Christ, indicating large-scale professions of faith.
- 78 individuals publicly baptized at the rally.
- Participants described the event as a night of powerful worship, prayer, and commitment — a sign many consider as evidence of revival.
“It’s not a burden to follow Jesus … It’s actually joyful. It’s actually freedom.” — speaker Bryce Crawford at the event
The National Movement Behind UniteUS
UniteUS first launched in September 2023 at Auburn University, where around 5,000 students gathered and roughly 200 were baptized in a spontaneous lakeside ceremony, signaling the start of what has become a nationwide campus revival movement.
Since that inaugural event:
- The ministry has reportedly reached 110,000 students across 18 different college campuses.
- According to UniteUS leadership, over 16,000 have given their lives to Christ.
- This fall alone, tens of thousands of students attended events — including large gatherings at the University of Cincinnati, Grand Canyon University, the University of Tennessee, University of South Florida, and the University of Oklahoma.
UniteUS bills its mission on each campus as centered on three pillars: salvation, freedom, and community.
What Every Believer Should Pay Attention To
- Campus ministry remains a powerful frontline — The scale of these gatherings shows that evangelism on college campuses can yield thousands of decisions for Christ.
- Revival-style worship is resonating with Gen Z — The hunger for truth and authentic spiritual encounter among younger believers may be greater than many realize.
- Public baptism and communal worship create momentum — When salvation is publicly celebrated, it encourages believers and underscores the transforming power of the Gospel.
- Opportunity for long-term discipleship and church engagement — Events like these can serve as entry points for churches to integrate new believers into local congregations.
Christian Perspective: A Revival Worth Watching
As Scripture reminds us, “And they replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household’.” (Acts 16:31, NIV) A generation turning to Christ en masse is not merely cultural — it is deeply spiritual.
The surge of young people praying, repenting, and being baptized echoes early-church patterns described in the Book of Acts, and signals that God is moving mightily among the next generation. For those of us committed to Gospel proclamation, this is a call to faithful support, bold discipleship, and urgent prayer.
Ways to Stand in the Gap Right Now
- Consider praying for these new believers — that they would be discipled, rooted in truth, and connected to healthy churches.
- Share the story of this revival with your church or community — there is power in testimony, and God may use it to awaken faith in others.
- If you sense God’s leading: explore ways to support revival efforts on college campuses and beyond.
