ANAHEIM, Calif. — July 13, 2026
More than 30,000 people gathered at Angel Stadium Saturday for the Harvest Crusade 2026, a free evangelistic event led by pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie. Another 250,000 people participated online, extending the event’s Gospel message far beyond Southern California.
By the end of the evening, Harvest Ministries reported that more than 4,200 people had made professions of faith in Jesus Christ. The total included responses received both at Angel Stadium and through the event’s livestream.
The event had reached full ticket capacity before July 11. Harvest introduced assigned seating this year after recent crusades filled stadium venues and forced organizers to turn away thousands of people. Although tickets were required, admission remained free.
Harvest Crusade 2026 by the Numbers
Harvest Ministries released the following results after the event:
- 30,000+ people attended at Angel Stadium.
- 250,000 people participated through the livestream.
- 4,200+ people made professions of faith in Jesus Christ, including in-person and online responses.
- 172 churches participated in the outreach.
- 3,000+ volunteers served during the event.
The participation of 172 churches emphasized the importance of local congregations in evangelism, prayer, volunteer service and follow-up discipleship. Harvest Crusades are designed not only to invite people to respond to the Gospel, but also to connect new believers with Biblical resources and local churches where they can grow in their faith.
A Night Centered on the Gospel
The event featured worship from Phil Wickham, Michael W. Smith, Kari Jobe Carnes, Cody Carnes and TAYA. Thousands joined together in songs including “Waymaker” and “What An Awesome God.”
Laurie then preached a Gospel message titled “What Happens One Minute After You Die?” His message addressed eternity, forgiveness and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. He proclaimed the death and resurrection of Christ and invited those listening to turn to Christ for forgiveness and new life.
“The heart of the night remains the same—to proclaim the Gospel and invite people to experience the hope only Jesus can give.” — Greg Laurie
As Laurie extended the invitation to respond to the Gospel, thousands came onto the Angel Stadium field. Harvest later reported more than4,200 professions of faith from those responding in person and online.
The event was broadcast through Harvest.org, YouTube, Harvest+ and other streaming platforms. Translation services were also made available in several languages, helping the Gospel reach people from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Recognizing America’s 250th Anniversary
The 2026 crusade included moments recognizing America’s 250th anniversary while keeping the proclamation of Christ at the center of the gathering. The evening opened with a flag ceremony and a prayer from pastor and Vietnam veteran Raul Ries. Attendees were reminded that lasting freedom is found not in a nation or political system, but solely in Jesus Christ.
Before the event, Laurie said Harvest had witnessed an unusual spiritual hunger in the United States, particularly among younger people. He explained that although the crusade would recognize the nation’s anniversary, its central purpose would remain the public proclamation of the Gospel.
A Long-Running Evangelistic Outreach
Harvest Crusades began in 1990 and have been held throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Harvest reported before the 2026 event that more than 6 million people had attended its crusades in person, millions more had participated online and more than 600,000 professions of faith had been recorded throughout the ministry’s history.
Phil Wickham’s participation represented a full-circle moment in that history. According to JubileeCast, Wickham attended the first Harvest Crusade at the Pacific Amphitheatre as a child before eventually becoming one of the event’s featured worship leaders.
The strong demand for the 2026 event followed capacity crowds in recent years. Laurie wrote in June that stadium venues had become so full that organizers were forced to turn away thousands, leading Harvest to implement free assigned tickets for the 2026 gathering.
The Harvest Is Still Plentiful
The significance of an evangelistic gathering is not ultimately found in the size of the crowd, the number of viewers or the emotional power of the moment. Jesus told His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37).
The report that more than 4,200 people made professions of faith is cause for gratitude and prayer. Yet the Biblical evidence of true conversion is not merely walking forward at an event or repeating a prayer. It is repentance from sin, saving faith in Jesus Christ, submission to the authority of Scripture and lasting spiritual fruit.
The Harvest Crusade 2026 therefore offers encouragement to Christians praying for revival in America. The Gospel is still being proclaimed publicly. People—especially young people—are still willing to gather and hear the Truth. Churches must now faithfully disciple those who responded, teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded and helping them become rooted in faithful, Bible-believing congregations.
Revival cannot be measured by one night alone. But every genuine profession of faith represents a life that can be transformed by the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Pray for Gospel Awakening
Pray that every person who heard the Gospel during the Harvest Crusade will respond to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. Pray that those who made professions of faith will be grounded in God’s Word, connected with faithful local churches and equipped to proclaim the Gospel to others.
